2018 Dec: Audi’s new all-electric concept vehicle, the E-tron Sportback, made its debut at the Shanghai auto show today. And in addition to being super futuristic-looking, it also has some fairly surprising specs.
2019 Jan: As well as the public debut of its level 3 A8, the Elaine concept is a near-future look at a level 4 SUV with automated driving and driver-free parking.
2019 May: Audi’s other concept for Frankfurt, called the Aicon, likely is of less interest to drivers than it is to futurists. It shows how future innovations could combine in a fully autonomous vehicle; as an advanced design study, it gives a glimpse of “a prestigious automobile of tomorrow that stirs the desires of demanding customers.
2019 Sep: Besides the classic TFSI and TDI engines, Audi is increasingly banking on alternative drive systems. Here the focus lies on the g-tron models operating with natural gas, or CNG (compressed natural gas), with the synthetically produced Audi e-gas for practically CO2-neutral mobility.
2019 Nov: Imagine an amazing sports car that could repair itself from damage and automatically change color! Well that’s exactly what Spanish designer Daniel Garcia was thinking of when he created this awesome concept design for the Audi A9.
2020 Jan: Sporty, efficient and practical for everyday driving: The Audi e-tron quattro concept is a statement about the future of electric mobility.
2020 Mar: Audi describes its new Prologue concept car as a rolling blueprint for its future model line-up under new design boss Marc Lichte.
2021 Aug: The brand with the four rings is unveiling its concept car Audi h-tron quattro concept at the NAIAS 2016 in Detroit – a sporty SUV that uses hydrogen as its energy source. The concept car combines a highly efficient fuel cell achieving an output of up to 110 kW with a battery that provides a temporary boost of 100 kW. Audi’s fuel cell technology paves the way for sustainable mobility with the sporty performance for which the brand is renowned.
